Back From Da Nang

hey came back to Singapore on Thursday but then really too tired to update blog liao. then when in vietnam after the 1st day also too tired and lazy to go to the resort lobby to update for each day liao.

then yesterday after work, went to meet up with nicholas, li juan and some of the other 17th comm pple cos nic and juan came back to singapore for a break. went for dinner at maxwell food centre and then geylang for durian. me actually already having sore throat and got a bit of fever but then see the durian too tempting already so just eat a bit lor. ehhh but the durian uncle like cheat us money cos like only the durian shell very heavy lor. then the durian meat only very little only. then after tat actually was going to join js they all to watch world cup at holland v but then they say there no place to watch liao. so just went home lor. but also good lah cos after the durian, i feel the sore throat and fever like got a bit worse already. so maybe go home rest better lor.

ok continuing from after the post abt the 1st day in vietnam, after i finished updating my blog, i went back to the room to take shower. wah dunno y so suay the water supply kena cut. then my dad told us he stay there for ard 3 months liao also nv kena. haizzz so just wait for the water to come back lor. then when the water supply was back, it was also not very constant lor. the water like come out in spurts one. then it felt like there was a bit of sand in the water also. then after the shower i took one of the cups to the tap to wash then i saw tat the water was quite dark and murky... ehhh ok lah i shall stop complaining or else i would be labeled a pussy already.

for the 2nd and 3rd day there, wah it was really quite siong man. i tink half the time we were climbing up these long flights of stairs at these historical monuments cos most of these buildings were at the top of some knolls or hills. wah really toooo long nv exercise liao then after climbing a few of them i was damn tired liao. then even got a cramp in my left thigh. hmmmm maybe shld have did some warming up 1st. and another thing was the weather was really damn hot. the sunshine was like constantly there and there were only very few clouds in the sky. heard from my dad tat they have the 4 seasons over here at vietnam. and then tat it was summer time now. but like during winter the temperature also not tat low lah. only at most ard 10+°c and would be raining very frequently. hmmm din noe abt tat cos i tot vietnam like quite near to singapore so shld be summer all year thru mah.



on the 4th day, i tink like also not many places to visit in this city so we stayed back at the resort to make use of its facilities. i tried playing tennis for the 1st time and it was quite different from wat i tot it would be. e.g i had tot the racket would be heavier cos when i was younger i had held a tennis racket b4 and i remembered it to be really very heavy. ehhh but maybe i was really too weak then... then also i tot i had to hit the ball very hard so when i hit it for the 1st time, i was quite surprised to see it fly so far. but then it was still quite difficult to control the ball but it was still quite fun. after tat, we went to the ktv. but they only had very, very old songs so bo bian lor, have to choose songs like "yue liang dai biao wo de xin" so tat at least noe how to sing. haha but their ktv software also quite funny. after u sing each song they still got give score one. but then also like anyhow give one lah. then the video even worse than those "pirated" videos in singapore tat shows either swans or girls in swim suits. it's just 1 video tat keeps repeating and repeating no matter which song u choose. haha but ok lah better then nothing.

then on the 5th day i had to wake up at ard 5am to get to the airport for the flight home. wah really quite a tiring holiday in terms of sleeping hours cos i had stayed up for most of the world cup matches for the past few days and then i had to wake up quite early to catch the resort breakfast. wah but when i woke up at ard 5am, it was already very bright outside like it was already 7am or 8am already. hmmm maybe becos it was summer time. so i just dragged myself up and then had the usual resort breakfast which i had already gotten tired of and then we made our way to the airport and onto the flight back home.

overall this was quite an enjoyable trip as i got to see my dad after quite a long time and also i got to take a break from work. but the food there wasn't really tat nice and i kind of missed the local food already. and tat was only after spending 5 days there. haha maybe i'm too home-loving already. always like to be in my own "shell". maybe it was partly due to the fact tat the place tat i visited was really quite ulu. but the pple there like all very relaxed one. like to take their own sweet time to do things. hmmmm sounds like wat i'm like. maybe i'll blend in quite well over there... then it's a very simple life and quite stress-free also. hmmm maybe if the food was nicer and the pay reasonable, i may consider working there also. haha.

Da Nang, Vietnam: Day 1

hey haha i'm updating this live all the way from Da Nang, Vietnam! Haha ok lah also not really tat far from singapore but the flight still took ard 2 hours. ehhh but the surroundings like reminds me a bit of those knolls in lim chu kang. ermmm maybe tmr or when i get back to singapore then can post some pics here.

ok i'm updating this from the business centre at this Lang Co Beach Resort. nothing to do at nite and not really interested in the Japan Croatia match also so just come here to update this very-long-not-updated blog lor. ehhh maybe later will be watching the Brazil Australia match. but also dunno can stay awake anot. cos this morning ard 4am like tat then i woke up liao. so i slept for ard 2 hours like tat only.

ermmm the internet connection here like not really fast lah. or shld i say it's really quite slow lah. cos i took ard 20 min just to get to this page. and the door rite in front of me now says "ADSL INTERNET". ehhh maybe tat will make me cherish the internet connection in singapore more.

ehhh yah hor still haven't say y i'm here in Da Nang. ermmm cos i just got confirmed for my perm job mah. so i come here celebrate. yeah!!! haha no lah. my dad's working here in vietnam mah and this month got many big occasions (like Fathers' Day, my sis' bday, my mum's bday and MY BIRTHDAY) to celebrate so i just came here with my mum and sis to celebrate together lor. then just nice i just got confirmed then can apply for annual leave and also just nice i just finished my ccna course last week. so everything so nice so i must come mah. ehhh haha maybe really not enuf sleep liao. keep typing so much nonsense...

ermmm ok lah just end here 1st. haha type so much liao still haven't say wat i did for the whole of today. see if tmr got chance then come here to update for the 2nd day of events also.
