world cyber games

wow this year the world cyber games in singapore. today's the 3rd day of competitions already. watched a highlights show abt it on channel u yesterday. ehhh quite interesting lah. especially one of the hosts... haha! just now too bored and nothing to do at home so i went to the website and watched the live broadcast of the fifa 2005 and counterstrike source match for the singapore teams. must support our national team right?

haha watching the fifa 2005 match is like watching a real soccer match but the pace is much faster. there were even commentators for the game, just like the real thing! both players were using france but then different formation. but i see like their tactics are almost the same. just get the ball to the flanks and cross it to the center. quite typical of most of the soccer games i guess. the singapore player came from 2-0 down to tie the game but then lost to a silly last minute goal. however, he still had a chance to equalise but then was very unlucky as the ball hit the crossbar. although it's only a computer game but i must say the match was quite exciting.

then after tat was the cs source match. haha watching it really reminds me abt playing cs during my poly days. really crazy abt the game at tat time. but haizzz really wasted quite a lot of time and money on it. we even took part in a competition and our clan name was [ORD]. haha tat time haven't even enlist yet and we were tinking abt ORD already.

ok abt the cs source match, the singapore team were up against korea who were the same korean team tat came in 3rd last year. so b4 watching i was tinking tat they confirm kena trashed.

wow seeing them play the game, both teams were like very organised and there seems to be a lot of tactics involved. wah i see like more difficult than chiong sua in army. eventually, the singaporeans won the game which was quite a surprise for me.

finally went out of my shell liao...

wah really soooooo long nv update this liao. wow almost 1 month already!!! ermmmm actually it's becos i've been leading a somewhat monotonous life recently. everyday wake up, wash up, eat, go online find job (or act as if i'm finding job), play game, dinner, play game then sleep. then next day, everything is repeated. tink today is the 1st time in a long while tat i went to the town area. met up with gary, ederwyn and some of ederwyn's frens for sakae sushi buffet. ermmm actually quite reluctant to go cos not much $$$ left. but long time nv meet them liao so just go lor. ehhhh guess this week i must try not to spend too much already. hopefully can keep it under $10 until sunday.

then last week went to the gym with lawrence. ran on the treadmill for 20 min (tat's the max. workout time). managed to run ard 2km+. dun dare to run too fast on the treadmill also. later end up like the person tat gary told me abt... then did the usual, chest press, biceps, abs, shoulder... wah very long time nv work out already. today body's still aching. haizzzz old already... hope can continue with this gym regime and try to tune my body back to somewhere near the condition before NS.

leaving for thailand trip in ard 2 weeks time. hope to find a temp job thru the new contacts...
