Bangkok day 2 - morning

Had a light breakfast at took lae dae as i listen to 2 angmohs chatting away. Seemed like they were trying to compete on who had better jobs, better lifes, etc. Socialising maybe. Not my cup of tea...

Then proceeded to terminal 21 to try to solve the traveller data sim card issue with my tab 4. Found out tat theres an ais shop there. Took a queue no. and was trying to pack the sim card nicely back to its package and din realise tat my queue no. was up. Nice angmoh lady came to inform me. 人间有温情啊。。。

Anyway, the ais staff then tried to solve my problem. After several attempts, he concluded tat my tab 4 is not compatible with thai sim cards. Asked for a refund but he said cannot... Dun wanna 为难 him and also my fault for not trying it before buying. So bo bian lor. Just have to use it on iphone and share hotspot like wat i am doing now. Was tinking of putting the thai sim card in tab 4 and share hotspot instead. This way i can still receive calls if there are any. But dun tink there will be any emergency calls ba

As i exit the shop, i saw some ah beng shops and decided to see if they can solve my problem. Tink they shld be better at this ba since their 江湖经验 shld be higher. So i approached one of them and enquired tat i needed an extra sim card for my tab 4 on top of the ais one. The "ah beng" was very friendly and recommended me this dtac sim card. Same package as the ais one. Then he was happily installing the sim card for me as we chatted abt my tab 4. Did the same thing as the ais guy and same outcome... Then he brought me to this samsung shop and the staff there confirmed tat my tab 4 was not unlocked for thai sim cards. Disappointed but quite impressed with the good customer service there

Then we went back to his shop and he was like dunno wat to do liao. He had already opened the sim card packaging and so he was like hinting tat i shld buy it. Ehhhh but then i buy already also cannot use mah. So i just said tat i cant buy it and got out of there as fast as i could cos his face was like super buay song liao. Haizzz really spoilt all of the good customer service shown earlier.

So here i am now in the food court on the 5th floor updating this. Ordered a kek huay drink which is quite refreshing. Basically it tastes like yeos chrysanthemum tea lah. Will be shopping here for a while. Maybe going back hotel later to recharge everything (including myself) before heading off to chinatown. Guess this will be the very slow pace tat i'll be going at for this trip cos i really got plenty of time to burn. Not like the last solo trip tat i had which i planned and executed so hectically. This will be very tuuuuu one where i can just keep tu-ing and tu-ing like wat i'm doing now. Wah already almost 2 liao! Been updating this for almost 2 hours now as i slowly sip away on the kek huay. Ehhh but hungry liao after the light breakfast tat i had earlier so decided to grab a bite 1st then i'll be on my way liao
